I have known this sweet couple for some time now. I absolutely adore both of them and they are wonderful to work with as well! We photographed their engagement session, as well as their beautiful wedding. Lindsey contacted me in the summer to plan a couple session in time for Christmas. I was excited that they decided to include their smooshy-faced fur baby, Daisy, in the photos. Such a cutie!
I love shoots like these that allow me to be more expressive and produce a bit more artful images. Horses are my heart and there is something very special about the bond between a horse and their human, and I love capturing that. It’s even a bit more special when it comes to girls and their horses. It’s almost as if the two were created for each other, the soul mate in the horse world.
After chatting with Megan on the phone about their engagement session, we had decided that it would be fun to incorporate Dwayne’s Camaro for at least some of the photos. They also opted to do the session at Hungry Mother Park, which is located in Marion VA. By doing so, the photos would have a bit more meaning to them since they spend a good bit of time at the park.
I wanted to make sure that I shared this blog because I absolutely loved how their photos turned out. For some reason or another it somehow got skipped in getting posted.
I loved working with this couple for both their engagement photos as well as their wedding. Theirs was a little different since they held their reception in evening, the day before the wedding. The reception was held at the Damascus Old Mill Inn and wedding ceremony took place the following morning in Mouth of Wilson VA at Grayson Highland State Park.
We have had the pleasure of knowing this great couple for a long time now so, I was very excited for them when she told me that she was expecting! They decided to do the maternity session at the location where they were married in Atkins VA.
